Lori and Sylvio are freelance writers based in Ontario, Canada. They have both had a life-long passion for travel and for learning about other cultures, while travelling on and off the beaten path. Why do you travel? What’s your favourite part of travelling? We are often asked these questions. People travel for different reasons, and the answers can vary widely. It might be for rest and relaxation, family commitments or work. When we talk to people about travel, we often hear things like, ” We can’t afford to travel,” because of time, cost or both.
